We have a very large patio that faces the north/northwest and have, for years, been researching solutions to minimize the sun during afternoon and evening hours. We tried various size table and stand alone umbrellas which became to cumbersome to deal with. We met Steve and Samantha at a home show this past spring and decided it was time to find a “permanent” solution. Initially Samantha came out and performed a thorough review of our patio and roof structure. She explained her products and options very well. We had a couple of competitors do the same. We felt most comfortable with Ambient, as they were the most knowledgeable of our needs and were not pushing just to make a sale. On the day of installation Steve and his crew arrived promptly and worked professionally. They completed the job in about 6 hours. This was good considering it was about 95 degrees that day! After about a month we had a minor problem with the wind sensor, however after one phone call, they were out to make adjustments and all is well. We have used the awning extensively this summer. It is exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend this company!

It was a seamless purchase and install. So many fabrics to choose from was one of the best draws to Ambiente. The awning looks fabulous when open and very well protected when close.
